This property had a lot going on - overgrown ivy spilling across the side passage, hollies and boxwoods that had lost their shape, and weeds taking over the beds. It's the kind of slow creep that happens when a yard just needs some dedicated attention. Not a bad yard by any means, just one that needed a reset.

We started by cutting back the large ivy wall running along the side of the property. That alone made a huge difference in opening up the space. From there, we moved to the front beds - shaping the boxwoods, hollies, and shrubs back into clean, defined forms that actually complement the architecture of the home.

The weed clearing is the part most people underestimate. Pulling weeds before fresh mulch goes down isn't just cosmetic. It's what keeps the beds looking good for months instead of weeks. We cleared everything out so the beds are ready to go whenever mulch gets laid.

What we ended up with is a front yard that looks intentional. The curved boxwood hedgeline following the porch, the shaped hollies flanking the entry, the clean bed edges - it all works together. That's what good landscape maintenance does. It doesn't just tidy things up, it makes the whole property look more put-together.

A cleanup like this doesn't require a full redesign. Sometimes the plants are already there and just need someone who knows how to work with them. That's exactly what our landscaping and lawn maintenance crews do - get in, do the work right, and leave it looking sharp.
