Here's what we were working with - beds packed with weeds, overgrown shrubs crowding the foundation, and sago palms that had completely lost their shape. The whole front of the house just looked neglected, even though the lawn itself was in decent shape. That disconnect between a clean lawn and chaotic beds is one of the most common things we see.

We started by pulling all the weeds out by hand and treating the beds so they don't just come right back. That step matters more than most people realize. Skipping treatment means you're pulling weeds again in a few weeks. We don't cut corners there.

From there, we got to work on the sago palms. They needed a proper trim to clean up the dead fronds and get them looking sharp again. Sago palms are a staple in this part of the country, and when they're maintained right, they're a real focal point. When they're not - they drag the whole yard down.

Once the beds were cleared and the palms were trimmed, we laid fresh mulch across the entire bed line. That's what ties it all together. Fresh mulch does two things - it looks great immediately, and it keeps weed pressure down going forward. The before and after difference on this one was hard to miss.

This is the kind of landscaping work that makes a property feel cared for again. Clean edges, treated beds, trimmed palms, fresh mulch - it's not complicated, but it has to be done right. That's exactly what we do.
